[2], 87 leaves. With approbations by Rabbi Mordechai benet and Rabbeinu the Chasam Sofer and a foreword by Rabbi Daniel Prostitz.
Ownership notation on the title page. Stamp of the Rebbetzin Brienah Volbrinsky (Varhaftig-Shachor), the daughter of the author of Aruch Hashulchan, who published his books. And stamps of Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Hacohen, Rav of the Tiferes Yisroel Beis Midrash in Riverside, New York, and his stamp from Jerusalem. Notation in a foreign language on the last leaf from 1837. Many handwritten corrections and markings.
Rabbi Zvi Hirsch ben Rabbi Chanoch Chaim Hacohen (1898-1969) Rav of the Tiferes Yisroel Beis Midrash in Riverside, New York. Author of Sefer Ginzei Derashos and Ra’ayonos (two sections, Yiddish, New York, 1933). The Rav who gave Coca Cola its Hechsher.
Semi-leather binding, partly dismantled and blemished. The flyleaf (with the signatures) is detached and blemished. Stains. Taping to the edges of the title page and the last leaf. Folds to the corners of the first leaves. Fair-good condition.
