Written at the beginning of the first leaf: בע"ה, בשמעתין דסימנים בב"מ [=בבבא מציעא] דף כ"ז, למדנו בחורף שנתרמ"ב לפ"ק פה חוסט יע"א". Written at the beginning of another leaf: "ח"ת [=חידושי תורה] בסוגיא דטעם כעיקר, פה חוסט".
These leaves refer many times to Kushiyos and Teirutzim in the name of "אדמ"ו הגאון נ"י". At the end of one of the discussion: "ע"כ [=עד כאן] נראה לאדמ"ו הגאון נ"י" – the Tzaddik Gaon Gaon Rabbi Amram Blum author of Beit She’arim, who during the years 1881-1883 served as Rav of Chust.
