This leaf refers to Rabbi Elchonon Wasserman, who was alive when it was written: "ובקובץ הערות למס’ יבמות להגר"א ווסרמנן שליט"א". The book Kovetz He’arot was printed for the first time in 1932. Rabbi Elchonon Wasserman was murdered in Tamuz 1941.
