Rabbi Yehuda Rosanis (1657-1726) one of the leading commentators of the Rambam’s Yad Hachazakah, one of the sages of Kushta. Studied Torah with Rabbi Shmuel Halevi, a disciple of the Maharit. His leading disciple was Rabbi Yaakov Chuli (who edited his book Mishneh Lamelech) author of MeAm Lo’ez.
