Stamps of Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef Chazan of Livitsh and his handwritten signature. Many glosses handwritten by him on the margins of the leaves and [3] leaves with lengthy quotes from Rabbi Yaakov Nonis Vais, from the foreword of Minchat Yehuda and Rabbi Yitzchak Shimshon meislish Horowitz Av Beit Din of Chernovich.
Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef Chazan added information about the previous editions of this book and the change in the names of the commentators introduced in it on the title pages of the first two Chumashim.
The Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef Chazan of Livitsh, Poland, who immigrated to Jerusalem. Was born in 1842 and passed away in 1928. The son of Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Plock. Author of Si’ach Yitzchak and additional books.
Simple binding. Stains and moth holes. Fair-good condition.
