A disciple of the Chasam Sofer in his old age and a leading disciple of the Ketav Sofer and the Maharam Shik. The son-in-law and successor of the Gaon Rabbi Yoel Unger Av Beis Din of Paks. Author of Yalkut Sofer, Likutei Sofer, Yalkut Eliezer and more.
