Contains [9] responses: 1. Kola Hashir – the prohibition of praying at the synagogue accompanied by a pipe organ. 2. Oneh Lachash – the obligation to pray quietly. 3. Siftei Yeshenim – the prohibition of changing the version of the prayer. 4. Leshon Esh – the importance of praying in Hebrew and fulfilling one’s obligation without understanding what is being said. 5. Beyeshishim Chochmah – about the importance of Ashkenazic and Sephardic Jews preserving their customs. 6. Safah Nochriya – the prohibition of praying and blessing in a language other than Hebrew. 7. Neginotai Nenagen – about the importance of preserving the custom of Ta’amei Hamikrah and preserving the Ashkenazic and Sephardic accents. 8. Kisui Chata’ah – the prohibition of uncovering one’s head in the synagogue, the prohibition of men and women sitting together in the synagogue and the prohibition of saying G-d’s name. 9. Ketz Hayamin – the obiligation to beleive in the coming of the Messiah.
Rabbi Avraham ben Rabbi Aryeh Leib [Lunstam] (passed away in 1839) Rav in Mezeritch and Emdin, author of Ma’amar Kodesh Hilulim (1819), Tzeror Hachaim (1820) and Mizmor Shir Chanukas Habayis (1836).
The Gaon Rabbi Sholom Avraham Atlas (passed away in 1935) Av Beis Din of Jelshva-Retza. A leading Hungarian Rabbi who received his Hora’ah Semicha from Gedolei Yisroel including Rabbi Eliezer Deutsch of Bonyhad. His comments and innovations appear in almost all the important religious journals that were published in his time (including Vayelaket Yosef and Tel Talpiyot).
Simple, worn binding. Stains. Some short tears to the edges of the leaves. The flyleaf is blemished and incomplete. Good condition.
