Letter with regards by the Gaon Rabbi Ben Zion Halevi Lichtman Av Beis Din of Beirut, when he came to Jerusalem, to the great Gaon Rabbi Yosef Eliyahu Henkin, one of the leading Poskim of the USA and head of the Ezrat Torah organization, with a request for Kimcha DePischa. Nissan, 1960.

The letter was typewritten and then signed by him. 

The Gaon Rabbi Ben Zion Halevi Lichtman [1892-1964] was educated and studied Torah in the yeshivas of Lithuania. Received his rabbinic Semicha from Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer and the Iluy of Platova, Rabbi Yoel Shurin. For a short while served as Rav in Ukraine. Immigrated to Eretz Yisroel and then moved to Beirut, where he served as Dayan and later as the Rav of the Jewish community. Author of Bnei Zion (six sections) on the Shulchan Aruch.
