Letter by the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Chaim David Sofer – president of Kollel Galicia and a grandson of the Chasam Sofer, to Rabbi Chaim Yisroel Eiz, for the house of the Chasam Sofer in Safed and his disciples. The eve of Passover, 1921.
The letter was sent to the philanthropist Rabbi Chaim Yisroel Eiz, who saved thousands of Jews during World War II, and in it, the Echad Sofer asks for his donation.
