Receipts from the committee of Kollel Vohlin, for assistance with Kimcha DePischa Signed by the holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Boyan Leipzig.
The receipts are from 1941, a year after he escaped from Leipzig to Eretz Yisroel, before the outbreak of World War II.
The holy Rav signed his full name of one of the receipts "Yisroel Friedman".
The holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Boyan Leipzig [1878-1951] the son of the Pachad Yitzchak and the great-grandson of the holy Rav of Ruzhin, after which he was called. On his mother’s side, he was the grandson of the holy Rav Rabbi Yochanan of Rachmistrivka. Married the daughter of the holy Rav Rabbi Shlomo of Sadigura. was revered by Chassidim. Lived in Eretz Yisroel for approx. eleven years and made efforts every year to light the bonfire on the roof of the grave of Rashbi on Lag BaOmer.
