Postcard by Rabbi Avraham Shmuel Binyomin ben Rabbi Akiva Sofer, with a Shana Tova blessing. Bratislava, the eve of Rosh Hashana 1920.

At the beginning of the postcard, Rabbi Sofer apologizes for not managing to do something to the advantage of the matter since he is in a resort of medicinal baths where he can do nothing. later, he blesses Rabbi Kroiz for the New Year.
The renowned Gaon Rabbi Avraham Shmuel Binyomin Sofer Gaon Av Beis Din and Ram of Pressburg [1901-1961] the son and successor of Maran the great Gaon Rabbi Akiva Sofer Gaon Av Beis Din and Ram of Pressburg and the great-grandson of Maran the author of the Chassam Sofer. He diligently studied Torah with his father. When his father immigrated to Eretz Yisroel, he was appointed the Rav of Pressburg. In Eretz Yisroel, he established the Chassam Sofer Shelter for refugees and the Pressburg Yeshiva headed by his great father. He succeeded his father as Rosh Yeshiva, as Rav of Pressburg and was also a member of Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah and the president of Kollel Shomrei HaChomos. Passed away several years after his father’s passing.
Rabbi Tzadok ben Rabbi Yosef Moshe Kroiz (1862-1953) author of Sefer Divrei Tzedek on Ishut and Gittin (Jerusalem, 1950). Was born in Jerusalem and never left the country. Studied at the Etz Chaim Yeshiva and was a disciple of Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld. For over fifty years served as the scribe and chief secretary of Kollel Shomrei Hachomot. In addition, worked at the hospital of Dr. Albert Ticho.
