Tractate Nedarim, copy of the holy Rav Rabbi Shlomo Yaakov, the son of the Mahari of Zitichov.
Tractate Nedarim of the Bavli Talmud, Lemberg 1863. A copy signed by the holy Rav Rabbi Shlomo Yaakov of Ziditchov, the third son of the holy Rav Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac of Ziditchev – in his father’s lifetime.
Written on the upper part of the title page: שייך להרב החסיד ר’ שלמה יעקב בן הרב הצדיוק מזידיטשויב שליט"א.
The Gemore is laden with hundreds of deep glosses in the later handwriting of a student of the Vizhnitz Yeshiva, Rabbi Zvi Meir Foigel, the grandson of the Kedushas Levi.
An especially large volume. Wide sheets with Rabbi Foigel’s glosses. Inside the Gemore, later handwritten leaves with Torah innovations, from the 1960s. Good-very good condition.
The title page is blemished and non-professionally restored with paper. Part of the title page is with red lettering and its border is gilt.
