On the title page, the personal round stamp of Rabbi Akiva Yosef and at the end of the book, stamps of his son, Rabbi Eliyahu Schlesinger.
In his book, the Lev HaIvri often cites the Rambam’s words appearing in this book; thus, he apparently studied it frequently.
The renowned holy Gaon Rabbi Akiva Yosef Schlesinger author of the Lev HaIvri [1837-1922] a disciple of his father Rabbi Yechiel who was a disciple of the Chasam Sofer and the Ketav Sofer, the Maharam Schick and the Machaneh Chaim. The son-in-law of the Holy Gaon Rabbi Hillel Lichtenstein of Kalameu. Immigrated to the Land of Israel and acted for its pure settlement. Was renowned for his unique Psakim on several matters, Psakim that led to a heated polemic for several years.
