The importance of the Maharal’s book to the Tzaddikim of Chernobyl:
This edition of Sefer Derech Chaim by the Maharal was published in Warsaw three years before the passing of the holy Maggid of Chernobyl. It is well-known that the deep, fundamental books by the Maharal of Prague did not move from the tables of leading Chassidic rabbis, first and foremost the Tzaddikim of Chernobyl.
The holy Admor of Skvira said, when seeing this holy copy of Derech Chaim that had belonged to his holy grandfather, that the books by the Maharal of Prague had never left the tables of the Tzaddikim of Chernobyl.
