בקדושה של מעלה! Parashas Shema of the Tefillin. Handwritten by Rabbi Zvi Sofer, the scribe of Or Shivas Hayamim, the holy Ba’al Shem Tov.
Vellum of Parashas Shema Yisroel of the Parashiyos of the Tefillin, handwritten by the holy Rav Rabbi Zvi, the scribe that was revered by Marana the Ba’al Shem Tov.
The holy Rav Rabbi Zvi Sofer was one of the two scribes of Maran the holy Ba’al Shem Tov; the first of them was Rabbi Ephraim and the second and later one, Rabbi Zvi Sofer.
The holy Ba’al Shem Tov told him to start writing Parashiyos, after showing him revelations and Divine visions. Tzaddikim said d of him that when he wrote the Parashiyos of the Tefillin he saw from one edge of the world to the other.
The most famed holy book handwritten by Rabbi Zvo Sofer is the Sefer Torah of the Ba’al Shem Tov, which exists to this day.
Among the Tzaddikim of the generations, the Parashiyos of Tefillin that he wrote were highly important; however, only few still exist.
In addition to the special sanctity of his script, Maran the holy Ba’al Shem Tov revered his vast knowledge of Chochmas Hanistar and the Ari’s Kabbalah, on which he based his script.
There are some special signs typical of his script such as the ‘ח of the word ‘וחרה’ – which is seen with ‘דינים’ and ‘זעם’. Or words with the letter ‘פ that were written in a special manner and some are מלופפות, like a פ inside a פ.
Folded vellum. Slightly faded ink in some letters along the folds. Good condition.
Measurement: 4.5 CM
