Lengthy letter handwritten by the holy Rav Rabbi Yerachmiel Yehuda Meir of Amshinov, referring to blessings by his holy father Rabbi Shimon Sholom. Passover Eve, 1953.
‘במטותא ממך בל תהין לשלוח מתנות חזרה’, (please do not even think of sending me gifts in return) writes the holy Rav Rabbi Meir of Amshinov. On the margins of the letter, he send his regards to Rabbi Avraham Sholom Trager, a leading Amshinov Chassid: והנני מוסר לך את ברכת החג מכ"ק אאמו"ר שליט"א שתחוגו ביתרון הכשר ושמחה ש"ב ידידך אוהבך הדושו"ט בלונ"ח ר"י מאיר קאליש.
The holy Rav Rabbi Meir of Amshinov [1905-1976] a wonder-worker who led his holy court with love and compassion. Had friendly relations with the Tzaddikim of his generation and brought each and every Jew closer. His prayers were famed for their length.
