272, 122 leaves. Without the [14] indices leaves. The last leaf is missing and replaced with a photocopy. Mispagination. With a single handwritten gloss. Owner’s signatures on the title page. On the following leaf, a notation: a dedication of the book by the philanthropist Yechezkel Reuven Menashe to his Beis Midrash.
About the printer’s mark of Rabbi Yehuda Sassoon at the printery of Shmuel Nachmias in Kushta appearing on the title page and the last leaf, see: A. Yaari, Diglei Hamadpisim HaIvriyim mo. 8.
To enable the printers to charge a fee for the book during the months of its printing, without being required to pay the full cost of the printing in advance, the book was distributed for several months as separate booklets, which were studied in synagogues of Sabbath.
Enclosed is material on the philanthropist Yechezkel Reuven Menashe of Baghdad.
Elegant semi-leather binding. Stains. Holes to the margins of leaves 184-191. The last leaf was completed with a photocopy. Without the indices leaves. The edges of some leaves were non-professionally restored, not affecting the text. Good condition.
