[2], 114 leaves. Written on the title page: "מן הספרים שנשלחו לי מפ"פ בחודש טבת תרס"ז מחירו 5.50 מארק היינו קרוב לשלשה ר"ט ברוך עשפטיין". With a stamp: "IAB".
The Gaon Rabbi Baruch Halevi Epstein (1860-1941) – author of several books including Torah Temimah, Makor Baruch and Baruch She’amar. Was the son of the Gaon Rabbi Yechiel Michl Halvi author of Aruch Hashukchan and the Rebbetzin Mishaleh, the sister of the Natziv of Volozhin. Studied at the Volozhin yeshiva and received his Heiter Hora’ah from his uncle, the Natziv. Later, he studied at a college for business administration and became a bank manager in Pinsk. He lived in the USA for several years, heading the Ezrat Torah organization. In 1928 he returned to Pinsk, where he passed away during the Holocaust.
