Lines of names for prayer and a Kvitel handwritten by Maran the Gaon the Chazon Ish, on verso of a letter he had received from the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak David Gottfarb of Jerusalem.
In the letter, on a postcard, Rabbi Yitzchak David writes names and requests for prayer: ‘שיבקש רחמים מרובים עבור החולה האנושי הבחור הירא וחרד לדבר ד’…
The letter was sent in 1943 and on its verso, the Chazon Ish wrote as kind of a Kvitel for himself five short lines with names for prayer, with their mothers’ names.
The Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak David Gottfarb was close to Maran of brisk, the Chazon Ish, Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer and more.
