On the title page, an owner’s notation and signature by the author of Sha’arei Torah: "חנני צורי בס’ הקדוש הלז וכה יזכני ד’ להגות בתורתו יום וליל נאם הק’.. וואלף בהגאון מ’ אלעזר נ"י.. ק"ק אמשינובל ואגפיה". With stamps of Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Hacohen, Rav of the Tiferes Yisroel Beis Midrash Riverside New York, one of the Kashruth-givers in the USA and previously, a disciple of the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld in Jerusalem.
Rabbi Binyomin Ze’ev Wolf Low (1777-1851) the son of Rabbi Elazar Low the author of Shemen Rokeach. One of the leading rabbis of Hungary and author of the Sha;arei Tirah books, which were approbated by Rabbi Akiva Eiger, the Chasam Sofer, Rabbi Mordechai Benet and Rabbi Baruch Frankle Teomim. Served as the Rav of Roshpitza, Kolin, Topochani and as Rav and Rosh Yeshiva of Verboi.
Some moth holes and stains. Blemish and taping to the title page. Good-very good condition.
