Lengthy letter by the great Gaon Rabbi David Yuda Zilberstein Av Beis Din of Vietzen to the leaders of the Tomchei Torah organization of the USA. Vietzen, 1939.
In his letter that was sent to Rabbi Eliyahu Yung, the president of the Tomchei Torah Organization, and to the Tzaddi Rav Rabbi Avraham Friedman, he asks for donations for the hundreds of students of the Yeshiva of thirty years of Vietzen.
The Gaon Rabbi Yuda blesses anyone who assists the yeshiva.

The holy Gaon Rabbi David Yehuda Zilberstein, the son of the Gaon of Vietzen Maran the Ma’asai LaMelech, a disciple of the Geonim Rabbi Shaul Brach and Rabbi Mordechai Leib Winkler the Levushei Mordechai. In 1905, he published the Sefer Yad David, which received enthusiastic approbations by Gedolei Hador – see enclosed material. In 1915, he became a Rav in Helishtova. In 1928, he became a Domatz in Vietzen, alongside his father who passed away in 1930. He them succeeded him as the Rav of Vietzen.
