In the letter, Rabbi Yosef Leib, author of the Yalkut Sofer, describes varied plans for the welfare of the poor of Jerusalem and Kollel Shomrei Hachomot.

Thus, we learn about a hotel that was established in Jerusalem for visitors from abroad, for eight days only.

The letter indicates Rabbi Yosef Leib’s involvement in all matters of the Kollel.
