[2] books in a single volume: Seder Hayom. by Rabbi Moshe ben Machir (lemberg, 1864) and Toldot Yaakov, by Rabbi Yaakov Aryeh of Vishnitza (Lviv, 1862. First edition). Pedigreed copy. 

[1], 62, [1]; 4, [62] leaves. 25 cm. With the handwritten signature of Rabbi Akiva Yosef Schlesinger on the title pages of both books. 

The renowned holy Gaon Rabbi Akiva Yosef Schlesinger author of the Lev HaIvri [1837-1922] a disciple of his father Rabbi Yechiel who was a disciple of the Chasam Sofer and the Ketav Sofer, the Maharam Schick and the Machaneh Chaim. The son-in-law of the Holy Gaon Rabbi Hillel Lichtenstein of Kalameu. Immigrated to the Land of Israel and acted for its pure settlement. Was renowned for his unique Psakim on several matters, Psakim that led to a heated polemic for several years.

Semi-leather binding, blemished. The first title page is partly detached. Stains. Folds to some corners. Blemish to the corner of the last leaf. Fair condition.
