Rabbi Simcha Reuven Edleman ben Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Leib Eigesh (1822-1893), Rav, author and linguist who was known as Sar Ish Chayil HaAdulami – a student of the Volozhin Yeshiva, who was knowledgeable of Shas bavli and Yerushalmi, Aggadot Chazal and Hebrew. Served as Rav and Dayan of Vilna and was famed for his work Shut Marcheshet.
Detached front board. Partly detached back board. The first leaf is detached and blemished so that only its middle part has remained. The last twp leaves are detached. fair condition.
