The holy Rav Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson author of Tzemach Tzedek [1789-1866]. Third Admor of Chabad. One of the greatest Tzaddikim and Poskei Halachah in his generation, revered by all Gedolei Hador. He was raised in the home of his grandfather, the Holy Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi, the ‘Ba’al HaTanya’. He was the son-in-law of his uncle the Mitteler Rebbe the holy Rav Rabbi Dov Ber, and after the passing of his father-in-law succeeded him. His sefer Shut Tzemach Tzedek implies the Gematria of his name [מנחם בגימטריא צמח, מענדל בגימטריא צדק]. He authored many additional books in Halacha and Chassidus, very deep and extensive.
