Rabbi Menachem (Nachum) Sheraga (Feibel) Revel (1838-1896) – on his mother’s side was the grandson of the Gaon Rabbi Menachem Charif Av Beis Din of Ir Chadash Shirvindet. Was born in Raseiniai and served as Av Beis Din of Linkuva and later of Pren. Authored five manuscripts: responsa, Torah innovations and sermons. His in-law was the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Yitzchak Halevi Levin, Av Beis Din of Ponovezh.
Simple binding, partly detached, stains. moth holes, some gluing, some of the corners of the leaves are folded, fair-good condition.
