Kuntres with dozens of leaves of the Zohar from the Zhytomyr 1863 edition, section III, with dozens of interesting glosses.
A booklet with 52 leaves of Sefer Hazohar section III, leaves 18-23, 177-223 with dozens of scholarly glosses in fine script.
The glosses compare the words of the Zohar with those of the Sages in the Bavli and Yerushalmi, MIdrashim and Rishonim and discuss contradictions between them. In addition, the writer demonstrates that the words of the Zohar were the source of some of the Rishonim such as the Kuzari and the Rashba. It seems that the writer was a Talmud Chacham with a developed sense of critique. (The style of the glosses is similar to that of the comments of the Gaon Rabbi Reuven Margolis in his books Sha’arei Zohar and Nitzotzei Zohar).
Sefer Hazohar, Zhytomyr 1863, volume III: leaves 18-23, 177-223 (52 leaves). 19 cm. Most of the leaves in good condition. Stains. Some of the glosses on the margins are trimmed. No binding.
