Imros Tehoros, five Ma’amarim from Sefer Assarah Ma’amaros by Rabbeinu Menachem Azaryah of Fano, with the Yad Yehuda commentary by Rabbi Yehuda Leib of Magentza. (Zvi Ze’ev ben david [Rabin Stein] Press), Mahlov, [1810]. Enclosed with the Sefer is an approbation by the holy Rav Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev.
[2], 142, 96, [2] leaves, 20 cm. Most of the Sefer was printed on bluish paper. [2] missing leaves were completed with a photocopy. Ownership notations on the title page.
Rabbeinu Menachem Azaryah of Fano (1548-1620) one of the greatest Kabbalists of all generations, authored many Seforim in Nigleh and Nistar (including the most well-known Shut HaRema MeFano). Born in Bologna and wandered a lot between the cities of Italy, suffered from the expulsion by the Pope Pius V in 1569. While he settled in Ferrara he immersed himself in the Torah of the Ramak and considered him as his revered Rabbi, though never meeting him in his lifetime. After the passing of the Ramak, Rabbi Menachem Azaryah purchased his manuscripts from his widow for a large amount of money. Maran the Beis Yosef appointed him to manage the printing of his Sefer Kesef Mishneh’ on the Rambam.
Renewed binding, [2] missing leaves were completed with a photocopy, some moth perforations to the margins of the leaves, stains, restorations to the edges of the first leaves, Very good general condition.
