Basic Chassidic Book, first edition! Yismach Moshe by the holy Gaon Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum of Ohel. First edition, 1849. Copy of the holy Gaon Rabbi Yuda Greenwald Av Beis Din of Satmar.


Sefer Yismach Moshe, edited and published by his grandson the holy Gaon the Yitav lev, with the assistance of his grandson the holy Rav Rabbi Mordechai David of Lapish. 


On the flyleaf, his handwritten signature: ‘הק’ יודא גרינוואלד’. Beneath it, he wrote where he bought the book ‘Baderkerestir’, the famed city of Kerestir. Possibly, he visited there to meet with the famed Tzaddik Rabbi Yeshayaleh. 


Many ownership signatures and notations on teh flyleaves, including poems and arcostics. many foreign notations.

The Tzaddik Gaon a Rabbi Yehuda [Yuda] Greenwald Av Beis Din and Rosh Yeshiva of Satmar [1860-1920], one of the great Tzaddikim of Hungary, disciple of the ‘Goren David’, and beloved disciple of the ‘Kessav Sofer’, and son-in-law of his brother Rabbi Yosef Josefow Sofer. He served as Rav in several important cities, most important ‘Satmar’ where he established his famous Yeshiva which was one of the most important and greatest in Hungary. Many of his disciples were Poskim and Rabbis of Hungarian Jewry.

Additional stamps of: "אברהם חנוך פרידמן דומ"צ פק"ק ארטה’ סאטמר יע"א", who was a leading disciple and confidante of his uncle Rabbi Yehuda Greenwald, grandson of the Chassam Sofer, who published many of his Rabbi’s and grandfathers manuscripts.
