Igeret Kodesh by the Rebbe of Lubavitch, with corrections and additions handwritten by him and with his handwritten signature. Days of Selichot, 1972.
The Rebbe writes blessings for the New Year: ‘לקראת השנה החדשה הבאה עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה ולברכה הנני בזה להביע ברכתי לו ולכל אשר לו ברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה בגשמיות וברוחניות’.
The Rebbe added on the letter: ‘מכתבו נתקבל’ (his letter has been received).
At the beginning of the letter, one can see the Rebbe’s concern for the honor of each and every one of the receivers of the letters and Igrot. The Rav, the addressee of the letter, was titled ‘הוו"ח’ – Havatik Vechassid (the senior and Chassid) – the Rebbe changed it to הרה"ח – Harav Hachassid. Extremely rare.
[1] Igeret Kodesh on the Rebbe’s official stationery. Sent to Rabbi Meir Charlov of Ramat Gan. An addition and correction handwritten by the Rebbe. His full signature. Minor stains. Very good condition.
