Lengthy letter containing Drush and Mussar by the great Gaon Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Hacohen Wolk, author of Keter Kehuna and the famed Rav of Pinsk, the brother of his disciple the Gaon Rav Rabbi Avraham Noah Raivich. Pinsk, 1905. 

In the letter, which was sent approx. a year before his passing, the Gaon Rabbi Zvi Hirsch responds to a disciple who misses his sermons on Mussar from his youth on Kosovo. 

The beginning of the letter indicates his modesty since he states he is not worthy of preaching yet agrees to do so because of his disciple’s request. 

The Gaon Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Hacohen Wolk [1856-1907] the Rav of Pinsk and author of Keter Kehuna. Studied with the Beis Levi in Slutzk and is considered one of his leading disciples. Was the son-in-law of Rabbi Mordechai Gimple Yoffe, the Rav of Ruzhin. 

[8] lined leaves. Handwritten and signed by the Gaon Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Hacohen Wolk in Pinsk. Slight wear. Stains and some faded ink. Good-very good condition.
