Entire leaf handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Halevi Wosner author of Shevet Halevi and Gaon Av Beis Din of Zichron Meir, The Rosh Yeshiva of Chachmei Lublin, from when he was living in Jerusalem after he immigrated to Eretz Yisroel.
2 written pages, on a Sugya of Masechet Shabbat, elucidating the three major methods of the Rishonim and Poskim on a Tinok Shenishbah.
Complete Sugya, handwritten, on the first stationery of Maran the Sheves Halevi, after he immigrated to Erezt Yisroel and served as Moreh Tzedek of the Kerem Avraham and Geulah neighborhoods of Jerusalem.
In those years, before he became famed and of course before he started serving as Rav of Zichron Meir and the establishment of Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin in the Holy Land, he gained a reputation among inner circles.
Back then, the leader of Agudas Yisroel Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Levin appealed to him on behalf of the great Geonim Rabbi Akiva Sofer of Pressburg, Rabbi Meir Kerlitz of Lechovich, the Chazon Ish’s brother, Rabbi Zalman Sorotzkin of Luck and more to receive Piskei Halachos and his opinion on the many Agunot who remained in Europe after the war.
This is a leaf from that glorious, unknown period.
[1] official stationery from the short Jerusalem period. Handwritten entirely by him, without his signature. 2 written pages. Fold lines. Stains and slight wear. Good-very good condition.
