Tzemach Hashem Lazvi by the Holy Rav Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Nadvorna. First Edition, Berditchev 1818
With approbations by the holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Pikov, tthe holy Rav Rabbi Mordechai of Kremnitz and with the rare leaf with the approbation by the holy Gaon Rabbi Ephraim Zalman Margolis of Brody. The book also contains the omissions and additions that were omitted from most copies.
The holy Rav Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Nadvorna [1740-1802] In his childhood, he was one of those who saw Or Shivas HaYamim the Ba’al Shem Tov. In his youth, Rabbi Zvi Hirsch served as a Melamed of children, becoming a close disciple of the holy Rav Rabbi Yechiel Michl of Zlotchov. Later he served as Maggid Meisharim of Dolina, later moving to Nadvorna. His leading disciples were Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Ziditchov, Rabbi Avraham David of Buchach and Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Kosov.
[3], 28, 138 leaves. Stains. Some moth damage. Restorations to some of the last leaves. Bluish paper. Wear. Some moth perforations. Water and aging stains with fungus stains on the margins. The edges of leaf 7 are torn, not affecting the text. Elegant leather binding. Good-very good condition.
