Sefer Pirkei DeRabbi Eliezer. According to the title page, the book was printed in Slavuta in 1849, Lemberg 1849.
On the flyleaf, the full handwritten signature of the Holy Rav Rabbi Nachum Bernyu of Sadigura: ‘זה ספרי שייך לנחום דובער פרידמאן, חילוף מר’ אלכסנדר זוסיא ארינשטיין.
Rabbi Alexander Zusha’s name also appears on the title page.
On the flyleaf, the red and gilt sticker of the library of Rabbi Nachum Bernyu.
On the title page – his signature in Rashi script, stamp and the special stamp of Kinyan Kaspi (bought with my money). Inside the book, several short glosses handwritten by him.
The holy Rav Rabbi Nachum Dov Ber Friedman [1844-1883] the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Sholom Yosef of Ruzhin and the son-in-law of the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura, a great Torah and Chassidus Gaon. Lived his entire life in the court of his father-in-law in Sadigura. His large library contained many rare books and manuscripts and was one of the most important and renowned libraries of his time. The Gaon author of ‘Yad Yehuda’ the Rav of Sadigura writes in his foreword to his Sefer ‘And when I came here to Sadigura I found what my soul loved in the house of my relative the Tzaddik Rav the son of the holy Nachum Dov who has a collection of rare books by ancient authors which is unparalleled. Used to stamp his books with three stamps – Minchas Shai (gift), Yerushas Avos (inheritance), Kinyan Kaspi (bought with my money).
