Rare and special postcard letter handwritten and signed by the Gaon the Posek Hora’ah Rabbi Meir Arik of Torno, sent to his disciple the great Gaon Rabbi Meshulam Roth of Chernovich alongside his book IMrei Yosher. 1913.
The postcard, which was handwritten and signed by Rabbi Meir Arik and with his stamp, was written when he was Rav of Yazlovetz and after the publishing of his important book Shut Imrei Yosher, which he immediately sent to his leading disciple Rabbi Meshulam Roth, Rosh Av beis Din of Chernovich who eventually immigrated to the Holy Land.
Rabbi Meshulam Roth received the letter when he was serving as Rav of Chraskov, a position he held until World War I.
The Gaon Rabbi Meir Arik, in his modesty and wisdom, writes that he did not calculate the price of the book and that Rabbi Roth pay him as he sees fit…
