Sefer Ikarei Dinim – Ikarei Hadat – authored by the Gaon Rabbi Daniel Tirani, on Yoreh Deah. First Edition. Florence, 1806.

Copy of the great Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Heschel Frankel Teomim, the son of the Baruch Taam and brother-in-law of Maran the holy Rav of Sanz. 


On the title page, his handwritten signature in Rashi script and his personal stamps on the title page, flyleaf and inside the book. 


Ownership signatures of Rabbi Raphael Chaim of Pirgula, the Rav of Alexandria. 


Rabbi Yehoshua Heschel Frankel Teomim [passed away in 1843] the son of the Gaon Rabbi Baruch Frankel Teomim, the Baruch Taam, and the brother-in-law of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz. One of the leading disciples of the Chozeh of Lublin. Refused a rabbinic position and was a successful merchant. Only in his old age did he agree to accept a rabbinic position. Was the Shadchan of his brother-in-law the holy Rav of Sanz. 

Rabbi Daniel ben Rabbi Moshe David Tirani (1740-1814) one of the sages of Italy. A disciple of his grandfather Rabbi Daniel Nachamu and a leading disciple of Rabbi Shimshon Morpurgo. He travelled constantly from one Jewish community to another, serving as a Darshan in Ancona, Rav in Ponty and Dayan in Pissaro. Since 1790 served as Rab and Av Beis Din of Florence. Author of Ikraei Hadat, Ketav Hadat, Matnat Yad, Se’udat Mitzvah and more. 

[1] 131 leaves. Leaves with slight wear to their upper edges, affecting the text of the last leaves. Blemish to the border of the title page and the Gaon’s signatures. Water stains and damage. Fine new binding. Good condition.
