Sefer Divrei Chaim on the Torah by Rabbi Chaim of Sanz, first edition, Munkatch, 1877. Copy of the holy Rav the Imrei Chaim of Vizhnitz.


The book Divrei Chaim which was published in the first year after the passing of Maran the holy Rav Rabbi Chaim Halberstam of Sanz. Published by his pious sons and with their foreword. 

With the personal stamp of the holy Rav Rabbi Chaim Meir of Vizhnitz, from the time he was living in Tel Aviv, with a double stamp. 

Maran the Imrei Chaim inherited the book from the famed Vizhnitz Chassid Rabbi Chaim Yehoshua Resmovich, the son-in-law of the Gaon Rabbi Meir Zvi Segal of Munkatch. 

The stamps and notations appear on the first leaf indicating that the missing title page did not appear when the book was owned by the Imrei Chaim of Vizhnitz.   


The holy Rav Rabbi Chaim Meir of Vizhnitz author of the Imrei Chaim [1888-1972] the son of the Ahavas Yisroel of Vizhnitz and son-in-law of the holy Rav Rabbi Ze’ev of Rachmistrivka. The Rav of Grosswardein, where he was also an Admor. After the Holocaust, reestablished the Vizhnitz institutions and supported the yeshiva founded by his brother the Damesek Eliezer of Vizhnitz. Was a member of Mo’etzes Gedolei HaTorah.


First section on the Torah. [1], 85, [5] leaves, the title page is missing. Slightly detached. Original binding with an almost completely detached front board. Wear and stains. Almost good condition.
