This Kuntres was written on the book on Tziyunim Ledivrei Hakabbalah (Prague, 1865) by the Gaon Rabbi Aharon Kornfeld, an original genius book on the Parashiyos of the Torah containing Gematria of verses implying many famed Halachos (the book is similar to the commentary of Baal Haturim on the Torah; yet in this book, the Gematria is long, complex sentences). beneath the Gematria, he shortly notes its Talmudic source. Printed at the end of the book are 13 lengthy scholarly comments.
This Kuntres by Rabbi Shlomo Ganzfried contains scholalry comments on the book, ordered by its leaves. On the last leaf, Rabbi Shlomo Ganzfried wrote: "בהערה י"ג הביא אמ"ו מוהר"ר אהרן ק"פ ד’ יאריך ימיו… " About the ties between Rabbi Shlomo Ganzfried and Rabbi Aharon Kornfeld see Moriya Journal, Shevat 2013 (see Tiferet catalog 46, item 76).
The Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Ganzfried (1804-1886) the renowned Rav of Ungvár (Uzhhorod) was a disciple of the Gaon Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Heller, the author of Tiv Gittin. Author of many books including Keset Sofer, Torat Zevach, Lechem VeSimlah, Ohalei Shem; however he is most renowned for his valuable book the Kitzur Shulchan Aruch, which is a basic and important book and had 14 editions that were printed in his lifetime. Many famed Geonim wrote of his greatness including the Chasam Sofer, the holy gaon Rabbi Shimon Sofer and the Maharam Schick. When he was 30, in 1834, he published for the first time his famed book on Hilchot Stam, Keset Sofer, which received an enthusiastic approbation from the Chasam Sofer.
