Sermon of Hitorerut for Rosh Hashana and Shabbat Shuvah handwritten by the holy Gaon Rabbi Mendel Panet of Deyzh, 1846, the first year of his leading the holy community of Deyzh. At its end, his holy blessings.
The sermon contains Divrei Kibushin the Ma’aglei Tzedek of Deyzh said in the first year after the passing of his holy father the Mareh Yechezkel, which was also his first year as his father’s successor. The sermon contains more than 60 lines of a Drush for Rosh Hashana and Shabbat Shuva.
At the end of the sermon for Rosh Hashana, he said:
‘ע"י העקדה יזכור לנו השי"ת וישפיע לנו כל טוב ויחדש עלינו שנה טובה וברכה וחיים ושלום עד העולם אמן סלה!
The holy Gaon Rabbi Menachem Mendel Panet author of Ma’agalei Tzedek of Deyzh (1818-1884) the son of he holy Gaon author of Mareh Yechezkel of Deyzh. A leading disciple of Maran the Chasam Sofer and a Chassid of the holy Gaon author of Yismach Moshe of Oihel. Authored the Ma’agalei Tzeddek Shut on the Shulchan Aruch. Succeeded his father as the Admor of Deyzh. Used to travel to the holy Gaon the Divrei Chaim of Sanz and the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura.
