Certificate to the donors and supporters of the Chessed leAvraham Skolen institutions – signed by the holy Rav the Noam Eliezer of Skolen.
In the certificate, the Rebbe indicates that the honorable philanthropist is partner to the Chessed LeAvraham institutions, supporting the students of their boarding schools, Talmudei Torah and Yeshiva.
Rabbi Eliezer Zussia Portugal of Skolen [1898-1982] the founder of the holy dynasty. His father was the Rav of Skolen, Moldova. At the age of 18, he became Rav of Chernovich. Followed the Tzaddikim of Ruzhin and Sadigura, especially the Knesses Mordechai of Sadigura. Was imprisoned in Romania for his activity for Judaism. After his release, he moved to the USA where in 1960, he established the Chessed LeAvraham institutions.
