Sefer Pane’ach Raza on the Torah – Amsterdam, 1698 – ancient signatures
Signatures on the title page: "לה’ הארץ ומלואה, הק’ אלי’ פערלש, בעד חי"ץ" [?]. The Perles family was an important and pedigreed family from Prague.
On the lower part of the title page, there are two signatures, written one on the other – unreadable.
Sefer Pane’ach Raza is a compilation from the Rishonim on the Parashiyot of the Torah, from Rabbi Elazar Baal Haroke’ach and Rabbi Yehuda HeChassid. The compilation was edited by Rabbi Yitzchak ben Rabbi Shimchon Hacohen, the son-in-law of the Maharal of Prague. The first edition was published in Prague, 1607. This is the second edition.
[2], 66 leaves. 19 cm. Most of the leaves are in good-fair condition.
