Manuscript, Kuntres Shut on varied halachic issues by Rabbi Yisroel Posna of Stradov, an important Chabad Rav, from the 1830s – copying in fine script – Jerusalem, 1906 – large parts of the Shut were not printed

Some of the Shut was printed in the issues of Yagdil Torah (of Kollel Tzemach Tzedek of Jerusalem) and elsewhere; however, a large part of it was apparently never published. 

Written at the beginning of the copying: "בעז"ה, פרשת וישב לפרט אך טוב לישראל סלה לפ"ק [=תרס"ו] פה עיה"ק ירושלים תובב"א, מוגה היטיב" (Parashas Vayeshev… here in Jerusalem, well-proofread). 

Apparently, this copying was done by his grandson the Gaon Chassid Rabbi Yisroel Shimon Shein, an important Chabad Chassid of Jerusalem (1857-1920). 

14 leaves. 20 cm. Good condition. Minor moth marks. Stains. Wear to some leaves.
