Sefer Chidushei HaRan on Bava Metzi’ah with Chidushei Rabbi Akiva Eiger at its end – First Edition of Chidushei haRan on Bava Metzi’ah and the first innovations of Rabbi Akiva Eiger which were published in his lifetime – signatures and notations

Most of Rabbi Akiva Eiger’s innovations were published only after his passing. In this book, apparently, some of Rabbi Akiva Eiger’s innovations were published for the first time (we do not know of any of his innovations that were published together in another book in his lifetime before 1823). The book contains innovations that were heard by the publisher and printed at the end of the book, copying of writings of Chidushei Rabbi Akiva Eiger on Bava Metzi’ah.

Signatures and notations on the front guard leaf: "שייך להרב מו’ שמע[ר]יל מאמשטרדאם ולע"ע בק"ק… יום ג’ ך’ שבט תקפ"ה לפ"ק, נעשה… עבדו ותלמידו הק’ אברהם… "

Stamp on the title page: בהמ"ד דק"ק שרימם".
