‘I received this book from the holy Gaon of Hidalmash’. Shut Derech Yivchar by the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Chaim Bezalel Panet of Toshnod, the son of the Mareh Yechezkel of Deyzh. Munkatch, 1894.
Copy with the stamp of the holy Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich and with a notation handwritten by him indicating that he had received the book from publisher, the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Asher Shmuel Panet of Hidalmash.
The holy Gaon of Shamloy writes: ב"ה קיבלתי ספר זה מהה"ג דק’ הידאלמאש, שלחתי לו אמע"מ (?) א’ זהו’ (=apparently, he sent him one gold coin).
Ownership notation also by the son of the Rav of Shamloy, Rabbi Eliezer Ehrenreich.
At the beginning of the book, twelve leaves with the biography of the holy Gaon author of the Mareh Yechezkel. At the end of the book, leaves with a list of subscribers including rabbis and dignitaries.
The holy Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich, Der Heiliger Shamloyer Rov [1863-1944] Av Beis Din of Shamloy. One of the greatest Poskim of his generation. Author of the Lechem Shlomo Shlomo and approx. forty additional works. The grandson of the holy Gaon author of Kol Aryeh who raised him and taught him Torah. A leading disciple of the holy Rav author of Kedushas Yom Tov of Siget and a Chassid of his son the holy Rav Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar. Perished with his community during the Holocaust.
