Letter by the Rav of Arshia to the leaders of the Frankfurt community – about money belonging to an orphan girl – Tamuz, 1782
Letter by Shimon ben Rabbi Shimshon Halevi, apparently, Av Beit Din of ארשוא [Arshva/Arshia/Arshiva/Orsha?] to the leaders of the Frankfurt am Main community, Rabbi Katz, rabbi Hirtz (who was a friend of the Pri Megadim). The letter contains a request to rescue money that belongs to an orphan girl, the daughter of Rabbi Ephraim Pshedvertz.
A sheet folded in half, with the address and a red wax seal. 23 cm. Good condition. Fold lines.
