Lengthy letter by the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Asher Jacoversky, the chief Ram of Bialystok – Tamuz 1909, Bialystok – lengthy, historical and interesting letter – 12 pages
The letter was written to "the Gaon Rav first and foremost Rav of Holland Gaon Av Beis Din of Amsterdam Shalita" [?]
In the letter, the writer describes at length his history and personal suffering alongside that of the residents of Bialystok due to the Pogrom they had endured recently. The letter was written to ask for support to help him overcome his situation. The Ram of Bialystok describes four manuscripts of books he had written and asks for a donation to publish them. In order to convince the Dutch Rav, he sends him examples of his Aggadic innovations.
Appearing on the letter are two stamps of Rabbi Jacoversky and a stamp of the yeshiva of Bialystol which he headed.
