Letter of request for tenants of Kollel Romania, signed by the leaders of the Kollel headed by the Gaon Rabbi Gershon Lapidos, Rav of the Beis Yisreol neighborhood. 1946.
In their letter, they ask the Chief Rabbis of Eretz Yisroel to allow them to mortgage one of the new buildings of the Achvah neighborhood to cover the rent and to prevent apartment-owners from settling there.
