Historical! Important letter by the Great Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Greineman, the brother-in-law and close friend of Maran the Chazon Ish and the father of the great Geonim, about His Immigration to the Holy Land, 1935.

The letter was sent from Kosov (Kosovo) and in it, he recalls that he has returned from America to plan his and his family’s immigration to the Holy Land and He who chose our people and Torah will help them settle there and "ולעבוד לטובת הרמת קרן עמנו ותורתנו בארץ ובגולה".

Later he pleads for Rabbi Polonsky and Rabbi Chayat and for his brother and sisters and for another family member, the young Avrech Rabbi Meir Karlitz (not the Gaon Av Beis Din of Lechovich but the grandson of the Rav of Kosovo).

He also asks to be sent the KOl Yisroel newspaper that was published in Jerusalem and change the address from New York to Kosovo until his immigration to the Holy Land.

[1] letter written on both sides of a lined leaf, handwritten and signed by the great Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Greineman. Filing perforation affecting some letters of the text. Good-very good condition.
