Letter by the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Harlap to Rabbi Daniel Sirkis, the chairman of the Community Committee of Tel Aviv, about appointing his son-in-law Rabbi Mordechai Leib Sacks as Rav of the Montefiore neighborhood. 1938.
Typewritten letter with the signature of the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Harlap. In the letter, he asks to help his son-in-law, who meets all the criteria, who is a Gadol BaTorah, wise and with the gift of public speaking even in Hebrew, receive the position of Rav of the Montefiore neighborhood – today the area of Kaplan-Yehudit St.
