Letters that were sent by the Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Yitzchak Hillman Rosh Av Beis Din of London to the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Landau of Bnei Berak. 1950-1952.
* A letter expressing gratitude for the Mazel Tov blessing that Rabbi Landau had sent him for the birth of his great-grandson, the grandson of Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Halevi Herzog. He is most probably referring to the birth of the great-grandson Mr. Michael Herzog – Mike, today the Israeli Ambassador in New York. The letter was sent in Av 1952.
* A letter confirming that he had sent his book Or Hayashar on the Rambam section II to the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Landau.
This letter was sent in 1950.
[2] stationeries, one written with pencil (due to health issues) and the other a typewritten letter with handwritten additions. Both letters are hand-signed by him.
